I always had in my mind the image of a parade with music and guitar pedal elements, but as I started to put ideas into a canvas that parade started to look more and more like a gang of characters coming to make some beats and problems. Better stay out of the way!

As I was finishing this gang, my mind kept on imagining all of them moving along with a A Tribe Called Quest song.
Not knowing anything about frame by frame animation, it was the perfect challenge. So this was the final result

Not being enough for me I made a silkscreen print of the artwork, and wanting to make the still frame and the animation coexist in one medium, I used augmented reality to make the print come to life just with your phone.
